Unemployment in Wrexham has fallen again, and has fallen below 3% for the first time since 2008.According to figures released by the Office for National Statistics today, the number of people claiming JobSeekers Allowance in Wrexham has fallen by almost 100 in the last month, and now stands at just 2.9%.
New businesses in Wrexham have benefited from over £30,000 to help them set-up, as part of the Government’s Start Up Loans scheme. The scheme is designed to support people looking to set up their own business, and has so far led to the establishment of nine new businesses in Wrexham.
