Proms

Members from Wrexham embarked on a pilgrimage to Chester Cathedral for the Hospice of the Good Shepherd Welsh Anthems and Proms celebration.

We travelled from Harlech to Jerusalem, with lots of Pomp and Circumstance in between. Following a few pre-singing tinctures in Paysan wine bar beforehand, we marched on mass to the Cathedral to join 750 Anglo-Welsh celebrants for a good sing and flag waving.

Rhos Male Voice Choir, Northop Silver Band plus others entertained the crowds with a synergy of Welsh and English anthems. A proud evening sharing our united heritage, unique to this part of the country.
